An 15-year-old boy has been punished to life behind bars with a lowest period of sixteen years for the murder of another schoolmate the victim during a midday recess.

The defendant stabbed the victim, similarly 15, into the heart with a large blade at the city's All Saints Catholic High School in the winter month.

"You acted as the provoker and... you proceeded in pain and anger at what you regarded to be his treachery of your bond," pronounced the justice during the judgment.

The school issued a announcement conveying that the student was "deeply mourned every single day by the whole school community".

Law enforcement emphasized the catastrophic results of possessing blades, observing that a "split-second choice" can permanently transform multiple lives.
